I first heard of the idea of having a homemaking notebook when I began to use Flylady's system for cleaning my house. I created two, one 8x11 and another 5x7. I hardly used either one and I pretty much abandoned using them. Then not to long ago, I happened upon one of the blogs that I have listed here. This reintroduced me to the idea of using a homemaking journal. After viewing Candi's blog and those on her site I decided to redo mine using the ideas from other notebooks. It is still a work in progress as I have written everything on notebook paper and put it in my binder. I have divider tabs that I have attached to page protectors. I don't have a printer right now so I can't finalize anything nor print the things that I want from various sources from the internet. My current calendar is one taken from my church's bulletin and hole punched. After I have finished it hope to take pictures and them here. Now I just have to get into the habit of actually using my notebook.

Sidetracked Again
Ugh! Why can't I keep up with posting here? I'm so lazy. No. Let's make that sidetracked. Yes, I admit I get sidetracked so easily. I am a SHE at heart. So many things keeping my focus away from what needs to be done.
Let see, as of last year dd decided to start climbing out of her crib. I wandered how long it would be before she learned. I am blessed in that she waited until almost 3 when so many children learn before the age of 2. Since turning 3 in February she is really becoming a talker. According to her PACT teacher she is right on with her development. Not bad for a 33 weeker. She has also learned how to open the refrigerator. I can't keep her out of it. We are also potty training. She does really well when not wearing a pull up. She knows when she needs to go and asks. However, you put a pullup on her and she never asks to go. Pullups are too convenient.
Well, need to go check on baby girl since she is being way to quiet.
