Time Flies

I haven't updated since November. It is a new year. My sweet little baby girl is turning 2 February 11. I was looking for something the other day and I ran across some photographs my sister-in-law took of us not long after Sara was born. She was so tiny. I can't believe how much she has grown. She is now an active little toddler who is learning to talk and is quick on her feet. I am absolutely amazed by her.

I have been spending a lot of time since the beginning of the new year focusing on my home and trying to get it in order. The Lord revealed to me several years ago that we would not have a house of our own until we took care of what we have right now. This has also been confirmed to me through my best friend. The changes have to start somewhere so they must start with me. After a while everything else will fall into place.

I joined a yahoo group in which we award ourselves points for getting things done in our home. Kind of like receiving a paycheck for all of our hard work. We follow Flylady whom I am a devotee of. We also have a little yahoo internet chat group. We meet in our own conference room and drill each other. Certainly helps with the motivation and getting things done. I can now let people into my home without embarrassment. Most of the mess that accumulates in the living room belongs to my little one so anyone who stops by would understand. A quick room rumble after she goes to bed is all it takes to get things in order.
