My New Project

A couple of months ago dh wanted me to learn how to create web pages so I could work on our business web page. Easier said than done. He had bought a book and wanted me to sit down and read it to learn how to create web pages. I just can't sit down and read a book to learn how to do something. I am a visual hands-on learner so I need more than a book. Well, as luck would have it on one of my email lists, a lady had found someone who taught HTML on a yahoo group similar to a structured class. I signed up for the class and it is just what I needed. It is almost like being in a classroom. Each day is a new lesson. I have a free website that I can use as long as needed. Everyone is working on the same document to avoid confusion. She gives us the lesson and then we put the information into practice. It is actually making sense to me. I just wish my mostly full ink cartridge on my computer had not dried up so quickly so I could print out my notes to put in a notebook. That will have to be done later.

Beginning Notes

Growing up I kept a journal of my thoughts and feelings. It was something I always kept private. To this day I still keep a journal. I don't write in it as much as I use to but I do find it very theraputic. Blogging is so popular these days and I said I would never do it. Well, never say never. Here I am, posting away my beginning thoughts.

My purpose of this blog is just a way to post the day in the life of a SAHM. The trials and tribulations of having a husband and a toddler to care for. And possibly to share a bit about my scrapbooking habit.
